Bitumen enamel is a plant applied durable pipe coating based on oxidized bitumen that has been used for many years for corrosion protection of steel pipes.

Bitumen Enamel is produced from petroleum bitumen, refined crude oil which is obtained by vacuum distillation. The petroleum bitumen is oxidized at the PLC automated reactors and mixed with inert filler. This modified product can be used for the corrosion protection of onshore and offshore pipelines.
